Ligneous conjunctivitis is a type of chronic characterized by the presence pseudomembranes on conjunctival surface. It can present as part multisystem disease with involvement other mucous membranes. A 1-year-old girl presented features conjunctivitis. Local examination revealed thick exudates in left tarsal conjunctiva, which was diagnosed an ulcer pseudomembrane and sterile culture. The patient nodular mass same site after year, showed along sub- epithelial hyaline lobular deposits negative for Congo red, concurring diagnosis ligneous prescribed topical lubricating agents regular follow up. attributed to deficiency plasminogen, plays vital wound healing. case highlights progression into lesion child who resisting medication follows
